No.1 Primordia

At 4.5 × 1.8 m on raw canvas, Primordia is the first of my monumental works in the series Monumenta I-X, created in an act of pure gestural expression while I was nine months pregnant.

Black, white, vivid pink and flecks of gold surge across the surface in sweeping arcs and splashes, embodying both the intensity and emergence of my process. The piece captures a charged threshold: a body at full creation painting a field of potential.

Hidden within the piece the word "Genesis".

For collectors, Primordia stands as both an aesthetic statement and a living record of origin. This is a contemporary heiress to action painting that radiates power, elegance and the vigor of creation itself.

This work carries the breath of all creation, a field before form, where dark and light strike and spark, casting threads of becoming across an untouched ground.

Within its weave move embryonic forces, vivid pulses of colour breaking through shadow, veins of gold recalling the memory of light.

To hold Primordia is to anchor the moment before emergence: the point of ignition, the silent roar of pure potential, ever pulsing through every conscious moment.
